WELCOME TO ANNA ARTEMENKO WEBSITE

Anna Artemenko — Ukrainian Theatre and Film Actress

Anna graduated from high school with honors and earned a Presidential Scholarship to attend the Karpenko-Kary National University of Theatre, Film and Television, where she later completed her Master’s degree in Acting for Theatre and Film (studio of Mikhail Reznikovich). While still a student, she was invited to join the company of the National Drama Theater of Lesya Ukrainka. Her first professional project — an international co-production with Canada (“Uncle’s Dream” by Dostoevsky) — took her on tour to Quebec, Toronto, and Ottawa.

Soon after, Anna received the lead role in the award-winning stage play “Page 105 About Love,” which was broadcast nationally and gained wide acclaim. Ukrainian film legend Bohdan Stupka, attending the premiere, said: “Anna is a phenomenon.”

She revealed new sides of her talent in the musical tragicomedy “L’Amour Fou” by Jean-François Regnard, with music by acclaimed Ukrainian composer Valentine Shevchenko. Anna’s scene as an elderly ballerina struck a deep chord with audiences and was later adapted for concert stages across Ukraine.

Over ten years on the national stage, Anna portrayed complex characters in works by Shakespeare, Molière, Turgenev, Tennessee Williams, and others — across comedy, drama, and musical theater.

At just 25 years old, she was awarded the title of Honored Artist of Ukraine — one of the country’s highest artistic honors.

She also trained at the London Royal School of Speech and Drama, and in the United States with Hollywood acting coach Ivana Chubbuck.

Anna has extensive experience teaching acting to children, teens, and adults — in theaters, universities, and creative studios.

For the past nine years in the U.S., she has focused on raising her two sons while developing skills in commercial production, independent filmmaking, and creative entrepreneurship.

Now, Anna is returning to the spotlight — with even greater strength, depth, and creative fire.

And this is just the beginning.
